In addition to annual reviews of parish financial data, the Finance Department trains and assists parish and school staffs, pastors and their finance councils, and other diocesan departments in good business practices, the proper recording of financial transactions, and the safeguarding of assets. The Finance Department’s ultimate goals are to assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements and to maximize funds available for parishes’, schools’, and diocesan departments’ priorities.

The Technology Department ensures that staff of the diocese, Catholic Charities, parishes and schools have the necessary hardware and software systems available and operational as well as the knowledge to use them, so that they can carry out their priorities in support of the Bishop, the Diocese and Catholic Charities.
