A New Beginning: Adoption & pregnancy Counseling
We offer professional, unbiased counseling on pregnancy-related issues, parenting information and referrals to other agencies or resources, and access to adoption services.
Adoption Services: Matches birth parents with adoptive parents in an open adoption process that encourages communication and relationship building between birth parents and adoptive parents.
Pregnancy Counseling: Our professional, caring staff provide women and those who care about them with emotional and social support services. We assist with planning and decision-making while women contemplate their options and strive to discern what is best for them and their child. We provide information and support to those considering parenting and adoption and assist in finding resources when necessary. Pregnancy Counseling services are free to pregnant women and their family.
Search Services: Our staff also completes adoption searches for individuals adopted through the Christ Child Home or Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Des Moines.
