Church Design & Renovation
The design or renovation of your worship space is an exciting and formative time in the life of a parish community. The Office of Worship works closely with parishes as they plan and design renovations and new church buildings. As the Diocesan Building Guidelines state, any parish or pastor planning to make any change in the worship space should plan to work with the Office of Worship as you make plans. This is to help ask questions and to guide the processes based on experiences had and successes and mistakes made along the way by many other parishes.
If you’re new to the building or renovation process, becoming familiar with the USCCB document on liturgical art and environment, Built of Living Stones, is important and helpful (see the link at left).
Please contact the Worship Office to begin or inquire about this process.
