Mission Statement of the Catechetical Leaders Association of the Diocese of Des Moines 2003
We, As catechetical leaders for the diocese of Des Moines, responding to our baptismal call serve as ministers of catechesis to echo the faith in the Catholic tradition for the people of God. As disciples of Jesus we gather to support and encourage one another through prayer, study, sharing and collaborative efforts. We are a voice in the diocese seeking to promote the professional character of pastoral ministry. We are called to be faith-filled leaders bringing vision and hope to the Church in the Spirit of Vatican II.
