The Experience

The seminarian program is based off of Pastores Dabo Vobis, (I will Give You Shepherds) written by John Paul II. The program focuses on four main pillars of formation, corresponding to four areas of the seminarian's life.  

1. The first area is Intellectual formation.  In this area, the seminarian is gauged by how well he performs in the classroom.  
2. The second area is Spiritual formation.  This area is gauged by whether or not the seminarian is showing up to the required morning and evening prayer, and is meeting regularly with his spiritual director. 
3. The third area is Human formation.  This area focuses on how well the seminarian interacts with the people around him. 
4. The fourth area is Pastoral formation, and this area focuses on how well the seminarian applies the teachings of the church at a pastoral level, working with the parishioners and leading them closer to Christ.
