File a Complaint

To file a complaint or to seek support or counseling, please contact Kate Gilmore, the Diocesan Victim Assistance Advocate, at (515) 286-2029 or e-mail advocate@dmdiocese.org.  A report form is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The victim is encouraged to report to the local civic authorities.

If a victim does not wish to contact the Diocesan representative, he or she can call Polk County Victim Services at 515-286-3600.   The agency will provide advocacy with the Diocese regardless of where the victim is living.  It can also refer victims to an advocate in their local community.
