 Ministry Director

The St. Joseph Educational Center (SJEC) is seeking an engaging individual to fulfill a full-time Ministry Director position. The SJEC resides at Dowling Catholic High School while focusing its efforts to serve 23 parishes and the broader Catholic community of Des Moines. The primary focus of the Center is to coordinate educational development for individuals and current/future parish employees, to provide adult faith formation programming, and to serve as a unifying element between the parishes, Catholic schools and Catholic families in Des Moines.

Qualified candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in Theology or equivalent. A doctorate degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in direct ministry at the parish, school or diocesan level. Previously demonstrated pastoral skills and the ability to teach and lead others to master these skills are essential.

Sacred Heart Preschool

3 Year-Old Preschool Associate/Para-Educator - West Des Moines, Iowa

Sacred Heart Preschool is looking for a 3-Year-Old Preschool Associate/Para-Educator for the 2017-2018 school year. Applicants should be fun, energetic and creative. Associate will help the teacher with day-to-day activities and routine. Experience working with early childhood children is preferred. The associate position is part-time but has option of full-time hours with our Extended Care (after class) preschool program.
