Immaculee llibagiza, said “Yes” to host a retreat April 1 in St. Joseph Church in Earling.
She survived a genocide in Rwanda, Africa. She “Lived to Tell,” as she titled one of many books.
She was hidden in a tiny bathroom with others while her family, friends and neighbors innocently were murdered with machetes. Beyond a doubt, this retreat throws witness to the power of prayer, miracles of the rosary, and forgiveness. No one will leave this retreat the same as when they came.
