Prayer in Action

Mark your calendars for a week that works for you in June or July 2019!

We are excited to announce a tremendous opportunity for our high school youth to encounter Christ in themselves and their neighbors as we travel outside of Des Moines to embark on a week of service and faith formation.

This program is already being very fruitfully carried out in the Diocese of Salina, Kansas and Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin. We will be modeling our program off of these, while adapting it to the needs of our own diocese.

We will soon start the process of accepting applications for the Prayer & Action staff (6-week paid position, ages 21-29) and for attendees (ages 14-18, one-week sessions). Stay tuned for more information to come, and spread the word!
