  • ACT scores are consistently higer in all areas (English, math, reading, science) than the state and nation. Des Moines diocese Catholic high schools earned a composite score of 24.1 versus 22.1 for high schools in the state of Iowa in 2012. See ACT data from 2012

  • Being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education is considered the highest honor an American school can achieve.  Since 2006, only about 3.9% of schools nationwide have been recognized with this honor.  Since 2001, five diocesan schools have been selected as National Blue Ribbon Schools.
