Diocesan Liturgical Commission
Mission Statement
We, the Diocesan Liturgical Commission of the Diocese of Des Moines, serve in an advisory capacity to the Director of the Office of Worship, thereby assisting the Bishop in his work as the principal liturgist of the diocese. We are committed to the on-going renewal of the liturgy in light of the traditions and liturgical documents of the Church. We shall promote knowledgeable liturgical preparation and prayerful celebration, competence in all liturgical ministries, and open communication about liturgical practice and needs in the diocese.
