To Whom Shall We Go? Finding Hope in a World that Disappoints

St. Thomas More Center, 6177 Panorama Rd, Panora, IA 50216

The virtue of Hope can elicit a number of responses: desire for something greater, doubt in those possibilities, trust in God's promises, and/or denial of our experiences or feelings. Whether one has ministered in the Church for a year or many years, the time always comes when one's Hope is tried.

In his recent autobiography, Pope Francis wrote, "...hope is above all the virtue of movement and the engine of change. The tension that brings together memory and utopia to truly build the dreams that await us."

This retreat is open to all adults who participate in youth ministry, including parish staff and volunteers.

This Retreat Offers

  • Sessions led by April Young, trained spiritual director & retreat director
  • Silence and reflection
  • Sharing and companionships with other youth ministers
