The Good Word on the Street aims to make Catholic teaching as relatable as your morning cup of coffee and as real as your every day struggles. Dr. John Huynh will present a special condensed version of The Good Word on the Street at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7 PM.

About Dr. John Huynh

Dr. John Huynh is the Director of Social Justice for the Diocese of Des Moines and Catholic Charities. John received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Loras College in 2007, his Masters of Theology from Loras College in 2009, and his Doctor of Ministry from Barry University in 2024. Prior to his role as the Director of Social Justice, John was the Director of the Faith Journey Office, which included building and implementing faith formation sessions in Diocesan schools for faculty and staff,  directing the Des Moines satellite location of the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute, and coordinating the permanent diaconate curriculum. He also taught at Dowling Catholic High School.
