Move Over Bible Study! Lectionary Reflection Has the Power to Transform Parish Life with Michael Ruzicki from LTP
September 18, 2025 9:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Location: East & West Satellite Locations
Bible Study groups provide an important ministry to our parishioners. But have you considered dedicating time and effort to breaking open the riches found in the Sunday readings? You can’t get any more “C”atholic, or universal, than the lectionary!
In our PCL Connect session, you will consider big ways and small ways to include God’s Word in the daily life of the parish:
- Prayer and discussion groups
- Reflections in the bulletin
- Videos on social media
- Lay preaching in non-liturgical settings, and more.
Let us take the next step in fostering an appreciation of Sacred Scripture by connecting the weekly readings to the daily lives of our parishioners.
Michael Ruzicki is the training and events manager at LTP and the director of sacred music and liturgy for St. Mary of the Lake Church in Chicago. He is the author of Guide for Training Initiation Ministers: An Introduction to the OCIA and a former team member of the North American Forum on the Catechumenate. Michael serves as the coordinator and emcee of the National Gathering on Christian Initiation.
