Parish Library Book Sale

Location: Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th St., Des Moines, Iowa 50315

There will be a wide selection of new and gently used books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, and board games for the whole family. Cost is donation only for the book sale items and will be located in the parish hall. Other events going on throughout the weekend include: Lent Fish Fry put on by the Knights of Columbus (adult plates $15), Family Formation Bake Sale, all desserts sold will support their trip to the Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference. Each slice of pie will be $3, miscellaneous desserts $2, and a scoop of ice cream $1. Altar and Rosary will have their bread available for purchase. Also available will be a story hour and face painting  and a pancake breakfast ($5 per plate).

Book Sale: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast: 7 a.m.- 10:30 p.m.

Altar & Rosary Bread Sale 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
