Teens Encounter Christ on September 20-22, 2025

We’re excited to announce that TEC—Teens Encounter Christ—is coming back to the Diocese of Des Moines! Participants are welcomed into this community through a powerful 3-day retreat, designed to draw them into the heart of the Paschal Mystery. We invite current high school juniors and seniors to attend this co-ed retreat.

  • The weekend will be held from Saturday morning through Monday afternoon at St. Thomas More Center at 6177 Panorama Road in Panora, IA.
  • Check-in is Saturday at 9 a.m.
  • The fee to help defray the cost of the weekend is $100.  Please note: Cost should not be a barrier to attending TEC.  Scholarships are available; request by emailing Jason Anderson at jason@stmcenter.com.
  • The TEC weekend will end at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday; please plan accordingly.  Most area schools consider TEC an excused absence.
