Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) Retreat

We’re excited to announce that TEC—Teens Encounter Christ—is coming back to the Diocese of Des Moines! Participants are welcomed into this community through a powerful 3-day retreat, designed to draw them into the heart of the Paschal Mystery. We invite current high school juniors and seniors to attend this co-ed retreat.

Additionally, we are seeking adults who would like to assist with this retreat or to lead future TEC retreats. Adults who attend this retreat will need to complete VIRTUS training and pass a background check.

The weekend will be held from Saturday morning through Monday afternoon at St. Thomas More Center at 6177 Panorama Road in Panora, IA.
Check-in is Saturday at 9 a.m.
The fee to help defray the cost of the weekend is $100. Please note: Cost should not be a barrier to attending TEC. Scholarships are available; request by emailing Jason Anderson at jason@stmcenter.com.
The TEC weekend will end at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday; please plan accordingly. Most area schools consider TEC an excused absence.
