Growing a Discerning Church: Four Types of Discernment

Pope Francis called for a “Discerning Church,” but many have never heard of discernment or how it is related to our broader experience of Church. Join the Emmaus House for "Growing a Discerning Church", a day-long experience of the spiritual implications of discernment for you and your community or parish.

Lisa Kelly, an Accompanier in the Jesuit-founded Discerning Leadership Program, will facilitate a day of understanding and experiencing four types of discernment vital for a discerning Church.

This retreat experience will be engaging to individuals, lay or ordained, spiritual directors, and anyone working within parish or faith-based ministries. Ministerial teams can come together to share the day as a team-building retreat.
