The Nine Lessons, Carols, and Reflections of Christmas

Umeri, the Drake University alumni choir (Aimee Beckmann-Collier, conductor) will present The Lessons, Carols, and Reflections of Christmas on Sunday, December 15, 3:00 pm, at St. Ambrose Cathedral in downtown Des Moines. This concert will feature music of the season which, along with poetry, will illuminate the Christmas narrative of light in darkness and hope in challenging times.

We invite you to join us for an afternoon of reflection and celebration featuring Drake’s alumni singers and a professional brass quartet, along with readers representing our community. This concert is free to attend.
