Join an evening with Joe Tallman as he unpacks John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and God’s perfect plan for love, faith and family life.

In September 1979, Saint Pope John Paul II introduced the first of 129 Wednesday Papal Audiences in which he explained God’s divine plan for humanity through the creation of the human person. As John Paul II explained it, “God has a plan for us – a plan for our lives, for our bodies, for our souls, for our future. This plan for us is extremely important – so important that God became man to explain it to us."

Joe Tallman is the Middle School Theology Teacher and Coordinator of Catholic Identity and Mission at St. Pius X Catholic School and Parish in Urbandale. He has taught Theology of the Body for over 15 years, inviting others to encounter God’s Perfect Plan for their lives and families.

The evening will begin with a meal at 5:30 PM followed by the presentation at 6:30 PM.
