Watching for Light

Grief, illness, a change in relationship and/or the overwhelming weariness about the state of the world can make this December feel like anything but “the most wonderful time of the year.” For a growing number in our community, reality cannot be relieved with sugar-coated songs on the radio or empty promises for a Happy New Year.

During this weekend of the winter solstice, “the longest night,” we will gather with others in the dark to reflect on and watch for what bears light.
