We the People with AMOS on January 13th at 6 PM

As people of faith, we are called to participate in the life of the polis—our civic community—so that we may be in full communion with one another, promoting the rights and fulfilling the responsibilities that flow from our shared human dignity.

In partnership with AMOS (A Mid-Iowa Organizing Strategy), a nonpartisan group, Catholic Charities and the Diocese of Des Moines invite parish leaders to join the We the People campaign: a series of small-group conversations across parishes and faith communities that allow us to listen deeply, give voice to those who are often unheard, and discern collective action that advances justice and the common good.

These sessions are not about being political in the modern sense, but about living out our Gospel call to communion, participation, and faithful public witness.

This session will be held over Zoom. Please register by Sunday, January 11th to ensure that you receive the email with the Zoom link.
