Deacon Chris Rohwer passed away

Please keep in your prayers Deacon Chris Rohwer, who died Nov. 1.

A husband, father and longtime staff member at Catholic Charities Food Pantry and Emergency Family Shelter, Deacon Chris was a Christian man who served the Lord and God’s flock in the Diocese.

Eternal rest grant unto Deacon Chris, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.  May he rest in peace.

Here is his obituary. A Memorial Mass will be held on Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines.
