Eucharistic Preacher Presentation Moved Online

Father Samuel Hakeem, one of 50 national Eucharistic preachers, was slated to give a presentation tonight, Thursday, Feb. 16, in Des Moines. Due to winter weather conditions, his presentation will be available to the public online beginning at 5:30 p.m.  

Father Hakeem originally wanted to be an astronaut. He had a change of heart and joined the Dominican Friars. Working out of Chicago, he was named one of 50 Eucharistic preachers as part of the U.S. bishops' national initiative called the Eucharistic Revival.
