Mass Dispensation for the First Sunday of Advent

Bishop William Joensen has granted a dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass this weekend due to the winter storm. No one is obligated to attend Mass this weekend. Individual parishes will be making prudential decisions about whether or not they are able to offer public Masses. Everyone is asked to be very prudent and stay safe.

If you cannot make it to Sunday Mass, consider spending some quiet time in prayer, perhaps reading and reflecting on the Sunday readings which can be found at www.usccb.org.
