News: Funeral arrangements for beloved pastor

Funeral arrangements for Father Dan Gehler, who died on June 30, are as follows:
Wednesday July 14
4 pm Visitation at St. Joseph Church in Earling
7 pm Vigil Service at St. Joseph Church in Earling
Thursday July 15
11 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church in Earling
Immediately following the Mass a luncheon will be served.
Friday July 16
TBD: burial of cremains in Mason City, Iowa.
Father Dan Gehler served three parishes in Shelby County: St Joseph in Earling; St. Peter in Defiance; and St. Michael in Harlan.
Eternal rest grant unto Father Dan Gehler, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
