News: Dangerously cold temps prompt closures

by Diocese of Des Moines | January 29, 2019

Diocesan logo The predicted record-breaking cold that will hit central Iowa on Wednesday, Jan. 30 is prompting some parishes to cancel morning Masses and evening activities. Some schools are closing for the day and limiting or cancelling/postponing evening activities. If you have an appointment/activity at a Catholic school or parish for Tuesday evening, Jan. 29 through Thursday morning, Jan.  31, please check to make sure it's still on before leaving your home. Be warm. Be safe.
