Adoration at St. Joseph Church in Des Moines

As of Thursday, June 11, all 80 parishes in the Diocese of Des Moines were permitted to worship publicly since closing in mid-March to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Diocesan leadership continues to monitor state recording of rates of infection by county and consult with medical experts. In this video, Bishop Joensen welcomes the faithful back to church and adds there will be precautionary guidelines in place. Returning to church will occur in a phased-in approach.
