Pray for those involved in incident at Ankeny Catholic school

St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School in Ankeny released the following statement Tuesday afternoon.

Dear St. Luke's Families,

I am writing to inform you that there was an incident in our car line after school today. Our staff responded immediately, and the families directly involved were contacted right away. Fire and rescue personnel were also called and were on the scene within minutes.

We ask that you keep all those involved in your prayers. At this time, please know that we will share additional information if needed.

Thank you to everyone who was present and offered help and support during this situation. Your care for one another is a true reflection of the St. Luke's community.

Please continue to keep our school families in your thoughts and prayers.
