Stewardship Administrative Assistant

The Diocese of Des Moines is seeking a high energy, organized individual to provide direct support to the Stewardship Department. This position performs a key role in the organization and implementation of fundraising activities for the Diocese of Des Moines. The duties require a high level of service in a team environment and motivation to work independently on a variety of tasks. Experience with Blackbaud products or similar customer-relationship management software is preferred.

Diocesan Coordinator, Disability Ministry

The Diocese of Des Moines is seeking a part time person (60 – 80 hours per month) who is passionate about serving members of our community with disabilities to implement the Disability Ministry plan.  This position provides services for persons with disabilities in order to ensure their full and meaningful participation in the faith community.

This position will work collaboratively with other Diocesan Offices and Agencies advocating a disability perspective into all areas of the diocesan faith community and facilities.

Catholic Foundation of Southwest Iowa

Executive Director

The Executive Director (ED) oversees and is responsible for all Catholic Foundation of Southwest Iowa (CFSWIA) activities. Specifically, the ED is responsible for CFSWIA investments, planned giving initiatives, donor advised funds and also serves as the primary liaison between the CFSWIA and all parishes, schools and organizations within the Catholic Church of Southwest Iowa.

Currently, the CFSWIA has approximately 90 agency funds and $80 million in assets under management. The ED will work to move the CFSWIA toward its 2027 goal of 100% relationships with targeted parishes, schools and organizations throughout Southwest Iowa, executing the CFSWIA’s goal of $150 million in assets under management, overseeing a comprehensive planned giving program for targeted parishes, schools and organizations, and ensuring planned giving and donor advised fund goals are achieved.
