PCL Connect-New Opportunities and New Responsibilities

East & West Satellite Locations at 9:00 am

What does Iowa House File 870 say about faith formation at your local public school?  Is there a path forward for your parish community to offer faith formation during the day?  What are the specifics I need to know about this if I present this to Father as a possibility for our community? Join Tom Chapman, Executive Director of the Iowa Catholic Conference, as he shares all the nuts and bolts of House File 870 Release Time.  John Gaffney will cover Faith Formation Policy 572.  This is a new policy recently approved around mandatory reporting for those who do not hold a professional license or a recognized profession under (section one of Iowa Code 232.69).  John will walk everyone through the new policy.

Your facilitators for the session will include Tom Chapman and John Gaffney.
