Join the Des Moines Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians for a special Blessing Mass celebrating music ministers at the Feast of St. Cecelia!
Come join us to celebrate the gift of music, receive a blessing, and connect with fellow musicians. Our Blessing Mass of Music Ministers will be held at St Pius X Catholic Church. It's a wonderful opportunity to honor those who bring music to our church services. Let's come together to give thanks for the gift of music in our lives.
🎶Join fellow musicians and parishioners from across the Des Moines Diocese to:
- Celebrate the Feast of St. Cecelia, Patron Saint of Musicians
- Receive a reverent blessing for your musical ministry
- Experience the joy of music—traditional and modern—shared in worship
- Connect over food and fellowship with other music ministers
- Receive a St. Cecelia Prayer card
- Be inspired by a spirit-filled homily
- Learn about NPM’s offerings for musical growth, liturgical learning, and faith formation
Gathering will begin at 8:30 AM for the 9 AM Mass. Following Mass there will be a celebration with food and fellowship in the Mary & Martha Room.
