Venezuela Earthquake Relief

Two devasting earthquakes hit Venezuela, the strongest in more than a century.  Archbishop Castillo of the Archdiocese of Caracas, Venezuela has reached out to us seeking financial support asking us to “show that faith translates into fraternal love during this traumatic incident”.

The pictures on the news show the damage and destruction of churches, homes, schools and public buildings, nearly unimaginable. Loss of life is now over 5,000, nearly 17,000 injuries. The disaster has left nearly 18,000 people homeless, with tens of thousands remaining missing.
