Life & Human Dignity

A Compassionate Approach

The Catholic Church long has offered a pastoral, compassionate response to women and couples facing difficult pregnancies. We have accompanied women and couples who are facing unexpected or difficult pregnancies through Catholic hospitals, Catholic Charities, social services and more. We also offer healing opportunities through reconciliation and Rachel's Vineyard, a program for those who suffer from abortion.

A Gift

The Catholic Church believes life, from conception to natural death, is a gift from God. As such, we work to protect that life to the best of our ability. Our Catholic faith calls on us to engage in public discussions and try to influence public policy in our effort to protect life because it's in the interest of the common good

Care For Both Mother & Child

In our effort to preserve life, the Catholic Church also advocates for families and children. In addition to saving children, we want to help women and families avoid the pain that comes with the loss of a child.

Our Role

We all have a role in preserving life, aiding women in crisis pregnancies, and supporting young families. The Catholic Church provides teachings based on science and faith. Everyone can help through various organizations by providing materials and services. In doing so, we may remove obstacles that stand in the way of a woman giving birth.
