Risk Management and Insurance

Risk Management

Every day, churches and schools, and even the Catholic Pastoral Center, are exposed to risk. The first step to managing risk is to identify the many types of risks around you. The goal of all churches and schools within the Diocese of Des Moines should be to ensure a safe, healthful environment for all, including, but not limited to, employees, volunteers, students, parishioners, vendors and other visitors.

One of the best avenues for managing risk is through the people and resources at Catholic Mutual Group (CMG), provider for all Diocesan entities for property, liability, and employee benefit coverage and related services.

Risk Management Resources

Reaching out to CMG for advice can be an invaluable resource, along with the Diocesan's Director of Property Management, Safety and Security both of whom are here to serve you.
